Information:

NEW ZEALAND GOLF TOURS: We have split our golf tours into six (6) regions and we normally recommend that you spend 3-days playing golf in any particular region. The Golf Courses we have selected below provide good golfing terrain and are endorsed by our Senior Golfing Guide.

 North Island
Bay of Islands Kauri Cliffs, Kerikeri Golf Club, Waitangi Golf Club
Auckland Muriwai, The Grange Golf Club, Formosa Auckland Country Club
Taupo Wairakei International Golf Course, Wairakei Resort, Taupo Golf Club
Wellington Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club, Hutt Golf Club, Manor Park Golf Club
 South Island
Christchurch Russley Golf Club, Terrace Downs Resort, Waitikiri Golf Club
Queenstown / Wanaka Millbrook Resort, Queenstown Golf Club, Wanaka Golf Club

GOLF COURSE STANDARDS: New Zealand Golf Clubhouse facilities do vary from those meeting basic requirements to the excellent, depending on the size of the membership and the financial position of the golf club. Golf course playing conditions can also vary. During the summer period (December to April), many courses have dry fairways, unless they have full irrigration systems. Greens are usually of a good to high standard thoughout the year.

Since 1996 a number of new, resort-style golf courses have been completed throughout the country (Kauri Cliffs, Gulf Harbour Country Club, Formosa Country Club, Clearwater Resort & Terrace Downs High Country Resort). The high standard of these courses has helped to raise the level of service and presentation at many existing golf clubs, particularly in the Auckland Region.

DRESS STANDARDS: Dress Standards do vary from club to club. At New Zealand's more expensive golf courses, jeans are generally not permitted and golf shoes must be worn. Tee Shirts and beach shorts are frowned upon at most courses, whilst walk-shorts worn in conjunction with short are usually acceptable. Some clubs still insist on long socks being worn with shorts.

ACCOMMODATION: Upmarket, exclusive accommodation is available at various international (Six Continents) hotels, and luxury lodges.

TRANSPORT: Our standard transport is either 4WD vehicle or luxury van.
